Coldest Night of the Year Walk

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Walk with us on Saturday, February 23, 2019!

Time: We will meet as a team at City Hall at 4:30 p.m.

What: Participants register online to walk 2, 5, or 10 km on a safe, looping 5 km route. There will be a rest stop and route marshalls on the route.

How:  Walkers register online at Westminster Walkers Team page.  Donors can donate to the same link online and are receipted within minutes of their secure online gift over $20.

Who: Everyone is welcome! CNOY is family-friendly. Walkers range in age from toddlers (with parents of course) to active seniors.

Impact: By walking at dusk during a cold winter’s night, you’ll feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness during winter. By fundraising, you’ll be contributing much-needed money to Youth Haven that is bringing hope and help to young people in our community who need support.

Registration:

  •  Kids 10 and under: No fee
  •  Youth 11-17: Fundraise $75, or pay reg fee
  •  Adults 18+: Fundraise $150, or pay reg fee
  •  Reg Fee: The reg fee increases from $25 to $40 on Monday, February 18, the last week of the event.
