Sunday Service – August 6

On Sunday, August 6th we’ll gather at 10:01am to praise the living God who made us!

We will sing a mix of songs, pray and encourage one another.

The nursery will be in operation. And in the Sunday School, the kids will continue to dive deeply into the story of the Good Samaritan in an engaging way.

In terms of the pastor’s message, over the summer Rev. Ruttan has been responding to people’s questions. One of the questions he sometimes gets is this: “Why do fewer people go to church these days?” He’ll use it as an opportunity to talk about wider cultural change, but also how Jesus and his message are now counter-cultural in Canada. In light of that, there are certain things you should be aware of if your faith is going to not only survive, but thrive.

Toward the end of the service, we’ll also make a special presentation to a few of our young people who are heading off to college and university!
