On Sunday, October 1st we’ll come together at 10:01am to praise God through prayer, learning, encouragement and fellowship.
Our nursery will be open, and our full Sunday School classes have resumed.
Plus, our pastor will bring Part 3 of our latest series: “Does God even exist? – The 1 question that changes everything.” Maybe you’re already convinced. If so, this will strengthen your faith and give you some tools to explain it a bit better. If you’re a bit unsure, this will give you a lot to consider (and re-consider). We’ll consult theologians, scientists and philosophers, dispel the myth that science and faith are opposites, and explore three of the big evidences that God exists.
In Part 1 we dispelled the myth that science and faith are opposites, and also explored an argument for the existence of God. [In case you missed it, you can hear part one (called “Mind Before Matter”) here.] In Part 2 we explored a second argument related to the design and structure of the universe and world. [In case you missed it, you can hear part two (called “God, that’s beautiful”) here.] On October 1st, we’ll explore what is perhaps the most powerful argument of all.
We’ll also have a white sugar and coffee drive for the David Busby Street Centre.
We’ll take up a special financial offering for the Deacon’s Fund (and fund which helps people who are struggling financially both inside and outside the congregation).
Plus, we’ll celebrate the Sacrament of Communion (The Lord’s Supper).
Join in. You’ll be glad you did.
