Sunday Service – October 29

On Sunday, October 29th we gather to worship, pray, praise, learn and encourage one another!

The nursery will be open. And so will the Sunday School.

One of the exciting and unique things about Sunday is that we’ll also have the confirmation of several of our young people, who are taking the step to make the faith their faith.

During the message our pastor will offer Part 2 in a two week mini-series called “Rich Man, Poor Man: What makes the rich poor, the poor rich, and how to be wealthy without any money.” Why do many rich people feel like they’re missing something? Why do many poor people seem to have something that others don’t? And how can we live wealthy lives regardless of how much money we have?” Since Jesus talks a lot about the connection between money and the heart, so will we. Our pastor will take us into the Bible to help us think it through.

[If you missed Part 1 called “When possessions possess you” you can hear the podcast here.]

Toward the end of the service we’ll also have a 5-minute Stewardship Focus. Kim Sanderson will explain the difference between two important groups who bless others — “Presbyterians Sharing” and “Presbyterian World Service and Development.”

Let’s honour God together!
