Sunday is Remembrance Sunday (which always falls the Sunday prior to Nov. 11).
The service begins with the Act of Remembrance, which includes the Laying of the Wreath, the Last Post, and O Canada.
In the service we will also light the candles of remembrance and hope. Congregants will be invited forward (if they wish) to light a candle in memory of someone who has died in the horrors of war, or as a prayer for peace.
Pastor Ruttan will lead the service, and the sermon will be shared by Scott Hurd.
There will be nursery care and Sunday School ministry for our youth. We will sing, pray, have special music, and strengthen one another in faith and perseverance.
