Family Devotional – Strong and Courageous

1. Background

Since we have decided to cancel public gathering for worship amidst the current COVID-19 epidemic and are only holding them via live stream, we are also providing weekly family devotional resources.

This can be used with children (of all ages) on Sunday morning, or at some other time during the week.

For the week of May 31, it’s called Strong & Courageous – the words that God spoke to Joshua when Joshua was leading the people of Israel across the Jordan River. Here’s the verse, Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
