On Sunday, June 1 at 10:01am we will gather to worship and praise God, the King of the ages.
It is also Anniversary Sunday. Westminster was founded in 1962. As a part of this we will give thanks for the Lord's ongoing work -- and have cake!
We will celebrate the Sacrament of Communion. The elders will distribute the bread and juice to the congregation with trays. Jesus said: "Do this in remembrance of me."
We continue with our teaching series on the 10 Commandments called "The Royal Family Code." We explore the fifth commandment from Exodus 20 about honouring parents. Like the other commands, there is more happening here than first meets the eye.
We will be blessed by music ministry, Sunday School (JK - high school), nursery care, fellowship time, and one another.
You may also provide a special financial offering -- if you are in a position to do so -- to our Deacon's Fund. This is a fund (overseen by a committee) which provides financial help to people struggling financially either inside or outside the congregation.
