Encased in Grace (The Art of Noticing) – Sermon
by Westminster
Have you ever noticed how some people see the same things but see different things? It’s a matter of perception. Sometimes you just have to look closer. Sometimes you just have to look differently.
You and I are encased in grace. But it’s sometimes hard to see. Life gets busy, distracting or hard. And we stop seeing. Well, we see things, but not everything there is to see.
This sermon on 2 Thessalonians 1:1-12 is a part of our teaching series called ‘The Beginning is Nigh.’ It takes us through the text to see what is obvious, but also what is not so obvious. The ‘art of noticing’ is about broadening our perspective and perception. When we do, we will have increasing confidence in the majesty and mercy of God in our lives.
