Creating a Culture of Care and Support in Our Churches for those with Dementia and Alzheimers
This is a workshop being hosted by the Presbytery of Barrie.
It is in Elmvale on Sat May 3 from 9am to 2pm. The main speaker, Dana Friesen, who will present her Canada-wide research and also personal experiences.
There are also three workshops to choose from: support resources for those struggling with Alzheimers and Dementia, best practices in pastoral care, and caring for the caregivers.
Lunch is provided. The event is free.
