WHAT’S COMING UP
AT WESTMINSTER

This Sunday

October 4

This Sunday several things are happening at Westminster:

Our pastor offers the third message in a series about the Holy Spirit called “Power: Waking Up to the Power and Possibility of the Holy Spirit”

You are invited to bring in gifts for our Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Barrie Food Bank

I’ll invite the kids to think about what they want to put on our Gratitude Tree that is an adult-size cut-out that will be in the sanctuary

We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion

There is a special financial offering for the Deacon’s Fund–a fund begun in 2012 to assist those struggling financially both inside and outside of the congregation

How do I get there?

We’re on Steel Street in Barrie, between Johnson and Duckworth. If you’re coming from the 400 highway, take the Duckworth exit, head east, and turn left on Steel when you see the sign. You may want to click on the ‘Get directions via Google Maps’ link above and type in your address for exact coordinates.

What should I wear?

Different people wear different things. Some wear golf shirts, some wear shirts and ties. A good approach is to come comfortably but respectably dressed.

A Few Thoughts

  • “I am amazed with God’s faithfulness, I’m grown spiritually by my church family through some of my lowest valleys. Not I’m a faithful volunteer on church men ministry. I like my new family in here.”
