Sunday, March 8th, we will gather to worship and honour our God.
This is the 2nd Sunday in Lent. It’s also daylight savings time to remember to change your clocks before bed on Saturday night! We will gather to sing, pray, learn and encourage one another as God’s people. There will be full kids’ ministry, and during the service we will hear the faith statements of two more of our young people and also see them get baptized!
During the message, Pastor Ruttan will reflect on these words of Jesus: “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 18:2). This isn’t about being child-ish, but child-like. What’s the difference? And what might this mean for our relationship with God and outlook in life as people today?
After the service, Pastor Ruttan will offer a brief celebration of Communion in the sanctuary for those who missed it last week, or for those who would like to re-take it.
