There are a lot of things happening at and through Westminster. We think of ourselves as a community centre. As such, many groups want to use our bright, wheel-chair accessible [main level], air-conditioned, and affordable facility. On this page you’ll see some pictures and find a form to send us an inquiry.


Many individuals, organizations and groups look to local churches for a place to hold a meeting or gathering.

At Westminster we are able to help individuals and groups find the right type of meeting space for their event. We are able to offer rates for single time uses as well as rates for multiple time or even yearly contracts for those organizations that would like to use our facility on a consistent basis.

Opportunities on our Main Level (all wheel chair accessible with washroom facilities)

Fellowship Hall / Kitchen – This is the main hall at Westminster and accommodates approximately 100 people for a dinner. Tables and chairs are included in the price of the room rental. If your group wishes to use the kitchen (photo: right), a separate charge would apply.

Library – Located on the main floor, our Library is a cozy spot for a small group of people wanting to hold a meeting. A group of 6 -8 people would be comfortable in this room.

Sanctuary – Our Sanctuary is stunningly beautiful with a long centre isle, oak pews, choir loft and pulpit. Its unique roof symbolizes two hands placed together as if you were praying. The Sanctuary also has a quality sound & video system, organ, keyboard and air conditioning. This is a great location for concerts, weddings and plays with a seating capacity of approximately 275 people. In some cases approval may be needed by our elders before we can book an event.

Opportunities on our Lower Level (not wheel chair accessible, washrooms on this level)

Colvin Room – This room is located on our lower level and is a warm, comfortable room providing a relaxing setting with couches and soft chairs. It will ideally provide a very private setting for a group of 10 -12 individuals.

Lower Level Main Room – This area is a well lit open area with a carpeted floor in part of the room and tile floor making up the majority of the area. This is a suitable area for a medium sized group (20 people), with several classroom style rooms off the main area that can be used as break out rooms for larger groups. In the past this area has accommodated groups such as schools and dance clubs.
