On May 19th we gather for Pentecost Sunday, the day when we remember when the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples and formally gave birth to the church.
We will sing, pray, learn, and encourage one another. We will also induct three elders into office (Jim Bewick, Mary Colvin, Guy Gagnon). (See separate announcement.)
The body of Christ will lead Sunday school, provide nursery care, and facilitate fellowship, music and prayer. We are a blessed congregation.
Pastor Ruttan will teach through Colossians 3:1-17, the most celebrated section of this letter. What does it mean for the “peace of Christ” to rule in our hearts in a way which is life-giving?
