Welcome to FAITH OVER FEAR!

Day 1 – God is Bigger than our Frustrations

This is a virtual opportunity for you, your children, grandchildren or families to explore some resources available online for free to help you build a strong foundation in Christ and remember that GOD IS BIGGER.

Each day you will find a new story adapted from the Bible into video from different churches on YouTube.  And a video of some of our favourite camp songs led by one of our incredible volunteers Melissa Maeck – Rolston, including actions! You’ll then find a discussion option as well as some activities to enjoy God’s word in fun ways, in your time.  Lastly,  you will also find a VBS song from our past camps.  From July 6 -10th, each day a new slate of resources will be available!  Feel free to join us each day or use the resources throughout the summer and do one per week! Whatever fits best with your family and your schedule.

Our hope is that this is a time for you to explore, experiment and enjoy God’s work, and it’s just a click away!

Joseph had his dream as a teenager and had to wait a long time and go through some major suffering (jail!) before his dream came true. Sometimes during this COVID – 19 pandemic it is so frustrating having to stay socially distant, doing distant schooling, video calls for everything like family, friends, sports, church!  Do you ever wonder, where is God during all this frustration? I am sure Joseph did too.

Often, we can see God in what has happened in our past. Can you think of a time you were frustrated and waiting for something good to happen and your prayers were answered? We do not always get the answer we want but God always answers prayer, he is done it before, and he will do it again! So today PRAY!

TODAY’S ACTIVITY

Today’s activity is for you to recreate your own favorite Bible story, or the story of Joseph in a format you like; maybe LEGO, playdoh, using stuffed animals, drawing comics etc.
