Day 3 – God is Bigger than our Worries

2 Kings 4: 1 – 7
During this pandemic there have been some very big worries, getting sick, financial, relational etc. If you’re feeling your worries are more then you can handle please reach out to a professional or contact us as your church family and we will do whatever we can to help support you during this very challenging time. In this story the woman had very little and Elisha helped her to trust God and God provided everything she needed. God works through his servants.

FAITH OVER FEAR!

This is a virtual opportunity for you, your children, grandchildren or families to explore some resources available online for free to help you build a strong foundation in Christ and remember that GOD IS BIGGER.

Each day you will find a new story adapted from the Bible into video from different churches on YouTube. And a video of some of our favourite camp songs led by one of our incredible volunteers Melissa Maeck – Rolston, including actions! You’ll then find a discussion option as well as some activities to enjoy God’s word in fun ways, in your time. Lastly, you will also find a VBS song from our past camps. From July 6 -10th, each day a new slate of resources will be available! Feel free to join us each day or use the resources throughout the summer and do one per week! Whatever fits best with your family and your schedule.

Our hope is that this is a time for you to explore, experiment and enjoy God’s work, and it’s just a click away!

Conversation!

Remember at the beginning of COVID – 19 when everyone was looking for toilet paper?! Sometimes when we are worried or unsure of what is to come we want to hold tight to things or stock up on STUFF. We need to remember that “things’ aren’t important, God is important! And God will provide for our needs. (Not always our wants, but our needs).

Often it’s easier to realize how much we have by finding ways to help others. Talk together today as a family and list some ways you can help others, then do them! Write letters for seniors, collect food for the foodbank, etc.

TODAY’S ACTIVITY

It’s Wednesday! Every year we run our charity car wash on the Wednesday of camp! Today we encourage you to wash your parents vehicle as a service to them for all the wonderful things they do with you! Don’t have a car don’t worry! You can do a bike wash, toy wash, deck clean etc.
