Dream Big – bite small

This week, Rev. Patrick Voo lead our service and delivered the message while Pastor Ruttan was on a well deserved week of vacation after the busy Christmas season.

Rev. Patrick tacked the famous question of “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!” Using scripture verses from Luke and Hebrews to bolster his argument that by relying on God as our strength we can do anything we dream – even big and daunting things.

“What appears humanly impossible is more than possible with God. For God can do what man cannot.” Jesus, Luke 18:27 (TPT)

Rev. Patrick then provides some practical advice and a great little reminder to help us to see that to be successful, we only need to do it a “bite” at a time.

– the bottom line is that we can reach the amazing destiny that God has called each of us too if we just do the little things that matter which are within our grasp.
