Race and the Kingdom of God

This week Pastor Ruttan’s message was inspired by calls for greater racial equality in our troubled world: “Race and the Kingdom of God.” (Sermon Notes are available here.)
During the message he shared bible passages from Revelation 5: 1-14. The text underpinned his key message that “There is every race in the face of God.” Sharing this powerful quote that informs our community;
God’s people are “bound together into a transnational, multiethnic community of people whose supreme allegiance is to the lordship of Jesus Christ.” Richard Mouw, Uncommon Decency
Pastor Ruttan went on to provide us with 4 practical ways we can respond as Christians to racial injustice.
A message of hope, a message of help.
