The key to weathering a storm
Storms happen. And lately, it seems that they keep getting windier. Well, the key to weathering a storm is who you’re weathering it with.
In this sermon, Pastor Ruttan explores Jesus’ words in John 5:30-47 and the many different witnesses he cites to give his listeners increasing confidence that Jesus is in fact the Son of God.
He also discusses different prophecies which confirm that Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah, and several historical and cultural events which God brings together at just the right time to maximize Jesus’ impact on the world. He also shares a word about Jesus’ ongoing influence.
There are storms aplenty. Each new generation, and each new individual, needs to decide whether or not they trust the one Captain who can see them through.
The sermon is called “The key to weathering a storm.”
*Note: In the sermon Pastor Ruttan indicated that he would include a link to J. Warner Wallace’s book Person of Interest: Why Jesus Still Matters in a World That Rejects the Bible. Here it is.
