Mark your calendars for THIS special evening from 7:30 to 8:30pm.  We will be having a special live-streamed prayer service. It will include prayers and special music. Let's join together as God's people! If you have a special prayer request that you'd like included please email it to Pastor Ruttan (who will be leading the service) at matthew@westminsterpc.ca before Tuesday at 5pm. & if you are naming someone please ensure they have given permission to be named on the internet; otherwise, just leave the name out. Please join us for our live-stream service which you can find right here Sunday is worship day! We gather digitally at 10:01am to praise Almighty God! It's also Father's Day. We will thank and celebrate fathers with a picture tribute (send yours in!), prayers and a fun dad video. We will be blessed by an upbeat Praise Challenge submission, hear about a new family devotional resources (that is based on apologetics), sing to the Lord, offer up prayers to the throne of grace, and open our Bibles to Matthew 7:7-27. We live our lives based on what we think is true. So in an age of information overload, how do we know what's true? Jesus has some powerful and clarifying thoughts for us to consider. Let's honour God together apart.

On Sunday at 10:01 via our YouTube live stream we will worship together (digitally) for our annual Canada Day service! (It's always held the Sunday before July 1.) We will sing O Canada, give thanks for our country, have a virtual Sunday School certificates presentation, pray, reflect on Psalm 85, sing, and enjoy special music. Plus, you'll be able to participate in the Great Canadian Trivia Challenge! Find the rules and the Q&A sheet here.  You'll need it to play along!  

On Sunday, July 5th we will gathering virtually to praise God!  You can access our live-stream here. There will be a series of unique elements: We centre ourselves in the Living God with music, prayer and his word. That's always foremost. We will hear a new video from the adult choir! We will share a tribute to our grade 8 and 12 grads. We will learn more about an online youth resource that Julie Cunha has prepared. Pastor Ruttan will help us explore how the almightiness of God can be comforting through the greatest hurts of life. He'll do this by looking at the troubling and victorious story of Joseph (in Genesis) with a message called "Good out of evil?" Hope you can join us!

Sunday is the first day of the week -- and we mark it together with worship! At 10:01am on our live-stream (You can access our live-stream here.)  we will praise God Almighty with lots of singing, prayer, and learning from God's word. We'll highlight another Praise Challenge Submission, enjoy some special music, and a few other unique elements. Pastor Ruttan will highlight the need for humility in our thoughts and actions. "Don't be judgmental!" is something you hear a lot these days. But what does that really mean (and what doesn't it mean)? Summer is upon us! And we continue to robustly worship God at 10:01am on Sunday morning via our YouTube live-stream! (You can access our live-stream here.) Do you want the "peace of Christ" during these strange and challenging days, especially when many people feel like they might be "losing it"? That's the theme of Sunday's service and Pastor Ruttan's message.  You will find sermon notes to accompany this message here. We will sing, praise and pray together, be blessed by another Praise Challenge submission, hear from 5 of our Sunday School teachers in the kids' time (via Zoom video), and sing along with our  choir's "Go Now In Peace." Join millions upon millions of Christians all over the world this Sunday, July 26 as we lift Jesus' name in worship, song and prayer! We gather digitally online at 10:01am via YouTube.  (You can access our live-stream here.) Our memory verse for this month is Romans 12:12: "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer"--so that is what we will do. Our service will continue to have a variety of special elements, and Pastor Ruttan will talk about "praying and not giving up" (as Jesus tells us to do in Luke 18:1-8). Some of you are doing well with prayer right now. Others, not so much. Jesus encourages us to be persistent; on Sunday we'll learn why, receive some motivation, and some practical tips. Soul Fatigue? - This Sunday, August 2nd at 10:01am we will gather digitally to honour the Lord—our strengthening and comforting God! (You can access our live-stream here.) We will sing, pray and grow in God’s word. Jenn Harris (our Music Director) and Pastor Ruttan will share some special music together. And for the message we will introduce the idea of “Soul Fatigue.” Maybe you don’t know what that is—or do you? There is a kind of heart and brain exhaustion that many people are experiencing as we navigate a new (and often unsettling, different, and changing) reality. Pastor Ruttan's message responds to this by exploring Jesus’ words to give “rest for your souls” (Matt. 11:29). What does he mean, and how?  Go here for Sermon Notes to accompany this week's message.
