John 16:33 – Faith-at-Home focus, week of Mar 6, 2022

It’s the start of a new month — and along with that is our new memory verse!
Since Pastor Ruttan is teaching through the Gospel of John, this month’s verse is from that book as well. It is John 16:33: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
What an appropriate verse for this time in life! We certainly do have troubles and problems while in this world! This past Sunday, Laura Ruttan and Pastor Ruttan gave just a few examples. But, Jesus says, we should “take heart.” That means we should have courage. After all, he has “overcome the world,” meaning that he is victorious over the darkness of the world! And we, my friends, belong to him.
