Despite Our Circumstances
What does it look like to obey God even in the face of serious opposition? How do we live knowing as if God is in control even when we feel out of control?
We get some insightful answers to these very questions when we look at Peter, John, and the other apostles and early disciples in Acts 4:1-31.
In this sermon from June 6, 2021, Pastor Ruttan takes us through the text, provides some background, and then zeroes in on their inspiring example: They ask God to use them boldly in their circumstances regardless of their circumstances! That sounds like a good thing to ask for today as well, don’t you think?
