Honoured to be dishonoured

How is it possible to rejoice, even after having been arrested, put in jail, shamed, and whipped? That’s what we explore in this sermon about the growing persecution of the apostles in Acts 5:17-42. We go through the text, provide background, and think through what it might mean for us today as we seek to be faithful to Jesus (even during hardship) and to experience the true joy of God.
