SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – Our New Full-Time Coordinator of Youth and Outreach: William Min

Earlier this year we decided as a church family to hire for a new full-time position: a Coordinator of Youth and Outreach. We can now joyfully announce that William Min will be joining us in this role!

Our committee received 52 applications. We interviewed a select few. The committee and elders were impressed by William’s clear commitment to the Lord, his calm confidence, his experience and creativity, and his genuine desire to help others grow in faith. William is currently the pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Penetang. He begins here on November 20th. He has been at First for 5 years and served as a student youth pastor for 7 years before that. He holds a Master of Divinity degree (Knox College).

William and his wife Tori have four boys—Abel (9), Aiden (7), Ewan (5), and Ebenezer (2). In addition to studying and applying Scripture, his interests include DJing, music production, illustration/graphic design and aggressive inline skating.

More opportunities will follow to learn more about William, including an interview on our podcast very soon. In the meantime, and as we plan for his arrival, we give thanks to our faithful Lord, for William and his family, and for all of you have been steadfast in prayer and in supporting our youth and outreach initiatives! Praise Jesus!
