Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions Collection 2020

Sunday, November 29th is the first Sunday of Advent.  We will light the Advent Candle of Hope and it will be the first Sunday for collection of items for the Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions. As our local children’s aid society and child & youth mental health provider, Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions (SMFC) provides needed services to vulnerable children, youth and families in our community, many of whom struggle to meet their basic needs. Your support this holiday season will help them have hope and know that someone cares. This year we are supporting the “Bulk Items – Shop & Collect”  Christine Charlebois has, once again, graciously taken up this outreach and will be at the church on Sunday November 29th and Sunday December 6th – between 12 & 2pm to collect your donations. You can also  donate funds that SMFC can use to purchase gift cards to fill in spots where they know the family(s) have needs.  All of the usual ways to do that are available.  Mail a cheque to the church or e-transfer using etransfer@westminsterpc.ca.  Make sure to note it is for SMFC.  Or, you can go to our app – choose the GIVE tile and you will find them listed right there. If you have questions, you can connect with Christine at 705-716-4712 or send an email to office@westminsterpc.ca.  Here’s some of the items they suggest;
