We are blessed with great leaders at Westminster! We are also entering a time of transition for two of our roles.

At the end of August, Julie Cunha will be stepping down from her role as Youth Coordinator to accept a full-time position at the Simcoe School Board, and Henna Kim will be stepping down from her role as Small Group and Home Church Coordinator to accept a full-time position as a minister at Trinity Church in Amherstview (near Kingston).

Julie began her position in 2013, and Henna began in March of last year. They have made wonderful contributions to our church community and we will acknowledge and thank them both formally in the next month and a half! Henna will of course be moving away, but we are happy that Julie will continue to be an active member of the congregation.

SEARCH PROCESS

We have begun a search for a new Youth Coordinator, and a new Communications Coordinator. A summary of the job descriptions and requirements can be accessed below. Our small groups (called ‘Vine Groups’ will be led by a volunteer beginning in the autumn.

The recruitment process for these two part-time positions has been started by our Human Resources Team. If you have questions, are interested in applying, or know someone who might be, please contact elder Steve Sainsbury at activeyouth [at] westminsterpc [dot] ca or 705-220-9016.

Our larger trajectory is to move toward hiring a full-time associate pastor with a focus on youth ministry. But these two positions are the first step.
